Catherine Kim-Nestaas, Akupunktør FOSMA, L.Ac., MSOM holds a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Berkeley, California (www.aimc.edu) and Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts.
She is also a National Board certified Oriental Medicine practitioner which designates her as the highest
level of OM practitioner in acupuncture and Chinese herbals in the United States (http://www.nccaom.org).
She has extensive experience in treatment of disorders ranging from acute to chronic diseases such as pain, heart disease, hypertension, female reproductive disorders, and much more. Additionally, she specializes in diabetes and chemotherapy support for cancer patients (maintenance of digestive function, energy, and overall well-being).

Catherine Kim-Nestaas has a strong background in Western medicine through many years of employment in the pharmaceutical industry, earlier as product manager for a multiple sclerosis therapeutic (beta-interferon)
and later as market research manager for novel cancer therapeutics (Novartis, Chiron).
